Camp CADI is a camp that empowers young girls traumatized by childhood sexual abuse.  Please visit the Camp CADI website here, and consider making a donation, adding to the wish list or helping out next year!

This camp gives girls ages 8-18 a safe place to be themselves.  When children are sexually abused their childhood is stolen, and the most significant mission at Camp CADI is to give each girl the opportunity to experience the simple joys of childhood again.

The entire staff is 100% volunteer, so all donations are put directly towards Camp CADI. Your support will help transport girls to camp, sponsor girls who cannot afford to come on their own and buy necessary supplies.

You can help right here by signing up for Skin School where a portion of the funds raised will go towards funding summer camp.  Many of these girls come from impoverished homes and often don't get the support they need.  Camp Cadi makes sure every girl is meant to feel special.

Some statistics:

Only 7% of victims were abused by strangers.  The rest were family members or known to the family.

Children who were abused are:

  • About 4 times more likely to develop symptoms of drug abuse

  • About 4 times more likely to experience PTSD as adults

  • About 3 times more likely to experience a major depressive episode as adults

  • One in 9 girls and 1 in 53 boys under the age of 18 experience sexual abuse or assault at the hands of an adult.

  • 82% of all victims under 18 are female.

  • Females ages 16-19 are 4 times more likely than the general population to be victims of rape, attempted rape, or sexual assault.

  •

Thank you so much for your support!!

I had the honor of volunteering as a camp counselor last summer at Camp Cadi
